Hello there, I am Amy Nieto, a photographer and designer who loves to wear lots of pattern. Born and raised in (not so sunny) Mayaguez, Puerto Rico, the vibrant energy and color palette of this tropical island fueled my unique creativity. It wasn't until I enrolled at the Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, Georgia, that my artistic vision flourished. I developed a photographic/filmmmaking eye complemented with a strong sense for design, enabling me with enough skills to become a freelance photographer and start a handmade accessories line, called Star Magnolia. My dedication towards the handmade arts led me to co-found Mutation in Savannah, Georgia, a local craft fair aimed at creative individuals who dare to think far outside the box.


Currently I live in Portland, Oregon surrounded by abundant greenery and super lovely people to photograph.
